Story

Many years have passed since the last human walked the land. Two groups of creatures remain: the Poogelooms and Pikkalis. They have survived using very different strategies.

The story begins with the bees. Pooglebees live free, making honey from the sweet nectar of the wild flowers of Astradosia. Meanwhile, across Pine Hill Divide, Pikkalbees struggle to survive in The Combine, a small empire ruled by crows. The Crows have discovered how to cultivate Blood Posies and have enslaved the bees to pollinate their valuable crop. Poison Pik Flies patrol the perimeter of the Posie fields to ensure the Pikalbees never taste the nectar of wild flowers.

When Queen of the Pikallbees dies, the Crows and Pik Flies invade Astradosia in search of a new queen. They kidnap the Poogle Princess, Tallulah. This leads to a struggle for control of the land and the rise of an unlikely hero. His name is Loowee, the drone son of the dead Pikalbee queen. He escapes to Astradosia, then leads an alliance of Poogelloms into battle against the Pikkallis to rescue the princess and save his hive. So begin the Poogellom Chronicles.
